Epiroc’s sales teams were receiving hundreds of pricing requests daily for spare mining parts and consumables. Due to the huge amount of time required to process these requests, the task was decentralized and spread among several business units. Work overload resulted in multiple requests getting lost or stuck in the processing cycle.

Bots built in ElectroNeek Studio increased efficiency by automating order request management.

An ElectroNeek bot automates the invoicing process by downloading and recognizing email attachments. Within the process, the bot checks for order fulfillment. Upon validation, it logs in to the SAP Logon system and checks to see if the items are in stock. If any of the items are out of stock, a bot opens the M3 Online website to calculate the delivery time. If the item is unavailable on M3 Online, the bot sends a request to Jira to search for the item by SKU number.

A bot runs Lotus Notes, where it searches for the customer by TIN, fills in the customer details for the invoice, and generates the actual invoice. Then it emails the invoice to the customer and informs stakeholders that the task has been completed.[ED1] 

The automation vastly reduced equipment downtime, saving sales managers more than 20,000 FTE hours annually.
